Olympia’s new CEO, Andy O’Sullivan has joined the board of the Association of Event Venues (AEV).
O’Sullivan, together with P&J Live’s new managing director Rob Wicks, were co-opted to the AEV board following the association’s spring meeting in Birmingham last week.
Rachel Parker, director, AEV welcomed the new board appointments. She said: “We are pleased Andy and Rob are joining the board. Andy is known for his market and customer insight and Rob is skilled in working with rights holders, brands, host venues, governing bodies and agencies. Both have a breadth of experience that will be extremely beneficial to our association and provide a fresh perspective with which to champion our industry and support our members.”

Regarding his appointment to the AEV board, O’Sullivan said: “I’m passionate about creating unforgettable customer experiences and delivering exceptional service. As we develop Olympia London and bring life to one of the UK’s most iconic venues in the heart of London, I see great value in learning from our venue contemporaries and look forward to contributing to board discussion.”
