The 19th edition of Grand Designs Live opened at ExCeL London on Saturday 4th May and features a Grand Designs build at the heart of the show floor.
The nine-day show, organised by Media 10, was opened by design expert Kevin McCloud (pictured).
The Grand Designs House is a seven-room barn conversion, which was constructed in just four days. It features products and design inspiration from 50 brands and showcases how small, yet impactful steps can be taken towards making homes self-sufficient and carbon-neutral.
With state-of-the-art cladding, glazing and infrared heating, the home also includes extras such as a wine cellar and cinema room. Show visitors can explore and purchase all the featured products at the exhibition.
Grand Designs Live also features an Outdoor Living Showcase, a Green Living Live area, daily live talks on homes for the future, and an Ask an Expert service.
