Coventry Building Society (CBS) Arena and Manchester Central will make up seven venues opening their doors for this year’s One Day at Christmas charity event on 6 December.
Last year, One Day at Christmas provided a magical day for 1,250 elderly, vulnerable and lonely people at ExCeL London, the NEC Birmingham, Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, the Business Design Centre and the Scottish Event Campus (SEC).
With CBS Arena and Manchester Central coming on board, the annual festive lunch, which has been running since 20217, hopes to reach an additional 500 people in need of company this Christmas.
Last year, over 70 organisations supported One Day at Christmas, helping to raise over £80,000.
