ONCO-X: navigating innovation in a competitive exhibition industry

ONCO-X is a new player of the exhibition services industry, offering cutting-edge solutions combining creativity, technology, and expertise to elevate exhibition events to new heights.

The company specialises in bespoke exhibition solutions, delivering tailor-made experiences that bring client visions to life. Since its inception they have grown into a large company capable of handling exhibition projects of all varieties. ONCO-X offer a full spectrum of services, ranging from exhibition core service delivery, stand design and build, driven by its in-house operational team.

Originally a family-run business, they brought in individuals with over 50 years’ experience all within the exhibition industry. Managing director and founder, Callum O’Neill, has an extensive history and experience of working within the events industry. At the age of 16, Callum started his journey at Stanco/So Group working as a labourer across various exhibitions across the country. Callum then moved onto Freeman spending over 10 years working as electrician, foreman, and then electrical operations manager – before setting up ONCO-X.

The company is also committed to its sustainability cause. It aims to minimise its environmental footprint where possible, which includes post-event waste management while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

ONCO-X enters an already saturated and competitive market for exhibition events services across the UK and other continents. Innovation is one of the ways the company is trying to disrupt the market by offering unique characteristics. Daniel Moore, sales manager puts it: “Whilst delivering core service solutions for exhibition organisers, incorporating the custom build solution to our offering adds value for standalone exhibitors and brands”.

In just a few months, ONCO-X has already made a significant impact, collaborating with a range of clients and agencies, such as cosmetics and pharma retailer Boots. ONCO-X is an ESSA member – meaning it is verified in the necessary skills, experience and resources to execute tasks safely and effectively. 

Managing director Callum O’Neill commented on the business’s future: “As we grow, we want to continue our upward trajectory and to rise above the ordinary, while still providing exceptional customer service, competitive pricing and a never say no approach”. 

ONCO-X will be participating in the upcoming annual exhibition event show, International Confex 2025 on stand E47C.
