Fast Forward 15, the mentoring programme for women in the events and hospitality industry, will stage a two-day fundraising event alongside International Confex this week.
‘Beyond Labels: Bringing a Newlife to Events‘ is a pop-up shop selling designer and high-street clothing at massively discounted prices. It will open tomorrow (28 February) in the North Gallery Rooms 12-17 at ExCeL London.
All proceeds from ticket sales and boutique purchases will go towards Newlife: The Charity for Disabled Children.
Ticket holders will have VIP access to the boutique throughout the two-day exhibition, plus invitations to two networking receptions, featuring live music, a raffle and a celebrity guest appearance from Lucie Cave, editor-in-chief of Heat magazine.
Fiona Robinson, Newlife’s CEO, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Fast Forward 15 for the Beyond Labels boutique, where you will be able to buy brand new fashion from leading High Street names for a fraction of the price. As all proceeds from the boutique will go directly towards providing essential equipment and support for disabled and terminally ill children across the UK, you can feel good about every purchase.
“There are now 1.5 million disabled and terminally ill children in the UK, but around 700,000 are living without the essential equipment they so desperately need. Here at Newlife, we provide life-changing specialist disability equipment as grants and loans to thousands of children each year, giving children and their families an improved quality of life and enabling them to thrive.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming as many visitors as possible to the Beyond Labels boutique and raising much-needed funds to ensure a brighter future for the families we serve.”
