Opus Origin’s InfraXmedia has acquired Data Center Nation (DCN), a series of events across Milan, Warsaw, Zurich, Dubai, and Riyadh.
InfraXmedia, which also owns media and events platform Data Centre Dynamics (DCD) and the Las Vegas-based digital infrastructure conference Yotta, will now run a combined 14-strong event portfolio in 2025 following this latest acquisition.
“Data Center Nation’s agile approach to data centre events perfectly complements InfraXmedia’s international network and other market-leading brands,” said Davide Ortisi, CEO at DCN, who will continue to lead the business. “The partnership will boost DCN’s portfolio of existing events as well as support new launches to help buyers better connect with sellers in a time of pressure for the data centre supply chain globally.”
George Rockett, managing partner at InfraXmedia and founder of DCD said: “We are delighted to continue developing the InfraXmedia platform to better serve our customers and global audiences at a time of unprecedented investment into the data centre, networks and other parts of the digital infrastructure ecosystem. We look forward to working with Davide and the team to support future growth opportunities.”
Opus Origin was formed by Stephen Brooks in 2019 following the sale of Mack Brooks to Reed and is run by former Contentive CEO, Sandeep Saujani plus Clarion Events’ non-executive director Simon Kimble and head of commercial development, Sam Jennings.
